Background & Mission: Teaching has always appealed to Paul because he enjoys exchanging ideas and sharing his knowledge
and experience with others. For more than forty years, Paul Kahng has devoted most of his life to teaching, school administration,
and management. A good educator must possess a true sense of commitment and stamina. Paul Kahng has been fully aware of the rigorous,
intellectual demand and personal challenges of an educator’s life and he readily accepted them with great enthusiasm

An educator and college professor for more than 40 years. - Fifteen
years as an educational program developer for the United Nations in -
Received a B.S. and a M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Maritime -
Attended K-12 educational programs at the CSULB, financial and personnel management course. -
Attended vocational & educational teaching credential certificate courses at the CSULB. -
Ph.D. dissertation at the USC. |
Community Involvement: - President/CEO of the * Awarded 47 Scholarships to junior high, high school, & college students so far - Former member of Norwalk Rotary/Cerritos
Rotary Club. - Former Director of
the International Corn Foundation in - Former member of Lions Club |

Commitments:
Paul Kahng will be available to assist
every family member of the community through a service called “Neighborhood office Hour.” Paul Kahng will be available
at all times at the convenience of the parents and students to hear more about each community members’ issues and concerns. Upgrading
Higher School Performance: Paul Kahng plans to ensure to raise the national ranking of our schools through a school tutor program. Accountability: Paul Kahng plans to ensure that every penny of our ABC
school and school bonds will be made accountable for improving both certified and classified staff. By offering them reasonable
compensation, they will maximize their contribution for higher academic standards to our children’s learning. |
If elected, Paul Kahng will promote the
existing ABC School Foundation toward providing more grassroot level of educational programs for the slow-learning children.
Also Paul Kahng will diversify the after-school programs not only to exchange the standard of the advanced students but also
to provide an intervention for below-grade-level students. Higher level students can mentor those needing assistance so that
all students will benefit from this program. Community credit can be earned for mentoring other students. Remember, Vote for
